Project Appleseed Marksmanship Clinics provide outstanding rifle marksmanship training in the context of the history of the American Revolution. These events are presented by instructors from the Revolutionary War Veterans Association. Mansfield Fish and Game hosts these events 2-3 times per year.
You can check out the After-Action Report on the Project Appleseed forum site from our April 2022 event, or see our calendar for upcoming September and October dates. One of those is a traditional rifle marksmanship class and the other is the first Appleseed pistol class we have hosted.
Regardless of your skill level, everyone leaves the day a better shooter. If you’re a novice, you get very good training in the fundamentals. If your skills are more advanced, you fix whatever bad habits you have built up. The instructors deliver that training with stories about events in the American Revolution, many of which happened in our own back yard.
